Planning and Development

Development Permits
Development permits are required for all new construction and demolition projects. Permits are obtained through the Village Office, and there is a $10 charge to apply for a Development Permit.

Building/Electrical and Plumbing Permits
The Village of Consort contracts Palliser Regional Municipal Services for provision of planning services, subdivision approvals, building permits and building, electrical and plumbing & gas safety codes enforcement. Applications for Building, Electrical and Plumbing permits are issued by Palliser. Application forms are available at the Village Office. Permit fees vary based upon the value of the project.
